THERAPIST & SUPERVISOR
Phillippa Burton
I’m an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, accredited with the BABCP. I have over 20 years of experience working in mental health, and have specialised in CBT for the past 10 years. My background includes extensive work in NHS services for both adults and young people (CAMHS), and I now offer therapy sessions in my private clinic in Henley-on-Thames and online.

My Experience
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including low mood, PTSD, OCD, social anxiety and phobias. CBT can also be of great benefit to those experiencing difficulties with insomnia, low self-esteem or perfectionism. I bring my experience and training to help clients change their relationship with anxiety and depression, and feel empowered and able to do things differently.
I have 20 years of experience working within mental health, and have specialised in CBT for the last 10 years. Having previously worked within NHS services for adults and children and young people (CAMHS) I now offer sessions for adolescents and adults.
My clinic is in Henley on Thames but I also see clients from the surrounding areas such as Marlow, Shiplake, Watlington, Twyford, Wallingford and Reading.
Supervision and teaching is also an area of passion for me. I'm the Programme Director for the Children and Young People's CBT training programme at the University of Reading, so regularly deliver clinical supervision and interactive training sessions.
